First Practice and Mandatory Parent Meeting

The summer is flying by and school will start before we know it…which means that Bible Bowl will too!  Our first practice will be Monday, August 31st, on the 4th floor of Southeast in room 473 (our usual meeting room) from 6:00-8:30PM (the new practice time).  We will also be having a mandatory parent meeting, so plan on at least one parent being present during that time.

If you have not already done so, order your player’s study materials here.  Purchase only for your player; sponsor resources will be purchased and provided by Southeast Bible Bowl.

Also, check out the new game play changes (among other things) announced yesterday by National Bible Bowl.  These changes were made in an effort to simplify understanding of the game for new players and for viewers.  Hopefully this will grow the Bible Bowl program!  We will be sure to cover these changes with the players; there may be some growing pains, but everyone will be experiencing those throughout the nation (not just us) and it’s all for the goal of spreading Bible Bowl (just think how important it has been to your player – we want more people to experience that!).

Please encourage your player to bring one friend with them who will give Bible Bowl a try through the first round robin.
