You’re Invited to Indy Winter Tournament!

I’ve been in touch with most parents already, but I’m finally firming up some details.  Without further ago – all players from all 7 teams are invited to the Indy Winter tournament!  The tournament will be held Saturday, January 6th, at Mount Pleasant Christian Church (381 North Bluff Rd, Greenwood, IN 46142) over James and Hebrews (and both league and national memory verses will be used in bonus questions).  Fee for players is $15 (no fee for adults), due that day (cash or checks made payable to Southeast).  They will also need to pack a lunch (or bring money for fast food) and money for a fast food dinner.  I need to know whether your child or children are attending and whether you are available to attend and drive.  We need lots of drivers, otherwise we may need to rent rental vans.  Please use this link to sign up for driving, and please email megankuhl@gmail.com to let me know if your child and/or you are attending.

Please note – we do not have a practice before this tournament, as our practices do not resume until January 8th.  That means your child has not yet covered Hebrews 10-13 at practice.  We recognize that this is ahead of our schedule (as our season started later than other programs across the country) and not all students will be fully prepared, but we felt the tournament would still be great experience for everyone.  We encourage them to be working on this over the next few weeks though as there is still plenty of time to prepare!  This is 12 pages of new text in addition to review.  Just 15 minutes a day or every other day would be plenty to rapid fire/read a new page and a few review pages several times.  Please reach out to your child’s coach if you have questions or concerns.
