TOURNAMENTS: Response Needed by Wednesday!

The players have been working hard and it has paid off – we have lots of players eligible for the February tournament at Kentucky Christian University (KCU) and the Winter Indy tournament!  However, we can only take these people if we have the sponsors to take them and if the tournament has enough room for all our teams.  Parents, this means we need you!  

KCU February 13-15

We will be leaving around noon Friday the 13th and returning around dinner time Sunday the 15th.  The fee for players will be around $60 plus money for one fast food meal and snacks while there (specifics to follow).  We will be staying in hotel rooms as school is still in session on campus, but will be playing and eating on campus.  The following 24 players earned enough points to attend:

Please LET ME KNOW BY WEDNESDAY 11/26 if your player can attend and if you can drive and/or quiz because we need drivers (can rent vans if not enough room in personal vehicles), one quizmaster per team, and chaperones for all these teams as they play and in the evenings in the hotel.  I have to submit registration by December 1st, so if I don’t hear from you or am unable to reach you by 11/26, your player will not be included in registration.

Winter Indy January 10

There is a day tournament (including round robin and potentially a double elim) at Mt. Pleasant Christian Church in Indianapolis covering John 1-12.  We did not put this on the point sheet, but we are inviting everyone who earned enough points for February KCU to go to the Indy tournament unless they are a first year player.  This will be the following 16 people:

Chloe, Colin, Corri, Ella, Emma, Geoffrey, Jackson, Jake, Jonathan, Katie, Lindsay, Nick, Reagan, Sam, Samuel, Shaylea

Please LET ME KNOW BY WEDNESDAY 11/26 if your player can attend and if you can drive up and back for the day (not sure times yet, but probably around 7am-7pm) and/or quiz because we need drivers (can rent a van if not enough room in personal vehicles) and one quizmaster per team.   I have to submit registration by November 29th, so if I don’t hear from you or am unable to reach you by 11/26, your player will not be included in registration.
