First League Meet of the Fall Season

Our first league meet of the season is this Sunday, September 20th, over Block 1 (Acts 1-4). We meet from 1:15-5:00pm at Southeast Blankenbaker campus starting in room ATCR 206 (2nd floor to the right of the chapel – go in main entrance and it’s right up the stairs there as soon as you enter). Please note:

  • The test (which we will recognize the top 10 performing students for at the league) must be completed online in advance by midnight Thursday. Your student can find and take that through your account here: https://account.biblebowl.org/achievement-test The test is closed book, 100 questions, and students have 20 minutes to take it in one sitting.

  • We compete in classrooms on the 2nd floor after the opening meeting – there will be 5-7 rounds depending on the division beginning at 1:45pm.

  • Immediately following the rounds are optional Quote Bee Prelims held in the same room as your last game for students to test their knowledge of memory verses. Make it past two rounds with prompts (the verse reference plus the clue) and two rounds without prompts (verse reference only) to achieve Gold Level.

  • Following Quote Bee Prelims will be an Individual Tournament (rules to be explained) for both divisions.

  • Quote Bee Finals will immediately follow back in room ATCR 206. Any player who made it past the Prelims will compete via verse reference only over memory verses. If no winner can be reached after two or three rounds (time and number of students will determine the number of rounds), we will go to verse reference over ANY verse in the block.

  • An awards ceremony will close out our meeting.

  • Family and friends are welcomed and encouraged to attend and cheer on our players!

  • Casual clothes are fine.
