Nationals – Response Needed!
It’s time for me to register our group for our National Bible Bowl Tournament! Following all the information here, there is a link at the bottom for a google survey...
Practice this last Monday night went great. We’re so excited for another season and to see so many new players joining us this year. We will be having a kick-off party at our house at 11025 Eagles Cove Dr. Louisville KY 40241 on September 23rd from 1-4PM, lunch is provided.
This year we have 36 players and 8 teams (which is awesome!!) and are required to bring 1 quiz master for every 2 teams we bring to round robin. That means each month we need 4 quiz masters. Currently we don’t have enough for our upcoming round robin in just 3 weeks – we need 2 more. Ideally we would have more than 4 trained quiz masters so that they’re not required to come to every round robin. Please consider becoming a quiz master. You don’t have to be an expert on the rules and our round robin offers training. Even just being willing to quiz 2-3 round robins would be a huge help. With 36 players, at least 8 coaches and quiz masters transportation this year will be a challenge. If you are willing to help drive to the round robins please review the calendar and email me at director@seccbiblebowl.org any months you are willing to drive. Bible Bowl is backed by donations and will cover your gas expenses. You must be an approved driver through Southeast, so if you aren’t please get this form notarized and turn it in to either Megan or I with a copy of your insurance card.
